When Was Vaping Invented?

Several people have tried to create e-cigarettes and electronic vaporizers over the last 90 years, but the first truly successful one wasn’t until about 2003. Although many people think the invention of a vape began in the 20th century, it actually had roots in ancient Egypt and India. A number of methods for vaping have been discovered in those ancient cultures. These methods include heating herbs and oils on hot stones, or using an enclosed sauna-like space to vaporize the herbs.

The first documented mention of an e-cigarette was by Joseph Robinson in 1927. He filed for a patent for a mechanical vaporizer, but never brought the device to market. His patent was approved three years later.

After this, people began to become concerned about the health effects of smoking. Benjamin Rush was the first to point out that cigarette smoking could lead to cancer. He also pointed out that smoking cigarettes could cause incurable diseases.

During the late 20th century, a number of companies began to file for patents for electronic vaporizers. Most of these prototypes were never commercialized, but some were made between 1927 and 2003.

The first commercial e-cigarette was not a device designed for nicotine delivery, but it was created for adult smokers who wanted to replace their cigarettes. It relied on nicotine evaporation. This idea was faulty, but it was still a step in the right direction.

In the 1970s, another e-cigarette device was invented. The device was designed to deliver nicotine to adult smokers. The device used a coiled heating wire and an ultrasonic emitter to vaporize the nicotine. This design was not very successful, and was never commercialized.

In the 1980s, another inventor tried to create an e-cigarette. The device was a faulty design, but it was never commercialized. The inventor, Phil Ray, worked with personal physician Norman Jacobson to develop a device that could deliver nicotine to adult smokers. The device was never a success, but it contributed to the language of vaping.

In the 1990s, another inventor, Jed Rose, tried to create an e-cigarette. He designed an atomizer tank that allowed the user to adjust the liquid and control the amount of resistance that was fed through gravity. This was still used by some vapers today.

Then, a Chinese pharmacist named Hon Lik invented an e-cigarette device. He wanted to create an electronic cigarette system to help people quit smoking. His device was designed to vaporize nicotine-containing liquid, and he used an ultrasonic emitter to turn the pressurized liquid into mist. He also developed a device that he thought could deliver nicotine to adult smokers in a more controlled way.

Hon Lik was successful in developing an electronic cigarette system in 2004. He then developed a number of vaping devices that used his technology. He also improved the nicotine delivery and added resistance heating to the device. Hon Lik also developed a heated coil atomiser for his devices, which produces larger amounts of vapour. Hon Lik continues to develop and improve his designs.

After all this and many years of the industry existing, we have so many different types of devices available to the public. Everything from old school, dual battery mods with large tanks, to small and portable pod system devices. It’s come so far we even have disposable vapes now as well as disposables that offer a rechargeable function so that one can get the fullest use out of their device. We expect this to continue to develop as we move forward in time, we will likely see even better designs, and cost effective patents.

There are so many options for those who wish to end their tobacco use and ultimately become smoke free altogether!
